chris nicholas: [ video editor ]
As an avid Nine Inch Nails fan, and lauded professional editor of more than 15 years, with a resume including such award-winning works as “Marilyn Manson: Demystifying the Devil”, Chris Nicholas’s work has been the subject of much accolade. But more so than just a professional editor, Chris is perhaps best described as professional storyteller – having created, written, edited, directed and produced countless works in the visual arts.
Those within the NIN community perhaps know Chris best for his viral YouTube video: “Hitler Reacts to NIN cancelling their show at the Henry Fonda Theater”, which Trent Reznor himself shared with the entire NIN community via nin.com. But what most people probably don’t know is that in 1991, Chris began his career in the entertainment industry as the keyboardist for Atlantic Records’ “Collapsing Lungs,” touring with such bands as Smashing Pumpkins, House of Pain and Cypress Hill, and going on to shoot a video for their single “Cracker Jack.” When the band parted ways, Nicholas got involved in television and film and went on to direct, produce, and edit the aformentioned award-winning documentary “Marilyn Manson: Demystifying the Devil.” and to produce the first season of A&E’s hit show, Criss Angel: MINDFREAK.

sean o’brien: [ video editor ]
Sean O’Brien is a young film-maker based out of Los Angeles, Ca. His primary focus is post-production which includes producing, editing, compositing, and motion graphics. Sean considers himself a child of the internet and wants to give back by producing content for his family. After graduating with a bachelor degree in film studies and production in Ft. Lauderdale, FL he was hired on as an in-house producer/editor at AgencyNet Interactive, a medium sized internet advertising agency. It was here where Sean developed a high standard for his work and was exposed to mixed media. Sean became just as comfortable with Illustrator and After Effects as he was with Final Cut Studio. After working on a series of award winning global brands including Bacardi, Sandals and Own Your C he was enticed to move to Los Angeles to pursue narrative film and episodic television. Since the move he has helped produce content for the Speed Channel, Actual Reality Pictures, and Chiat Day just to name a few. Sean’s desire to work in the film industry was inspired at the age of 15 when he took a job as a projectionist at a local movie theater. It was here where Sean was exposed to splicing films together on an old fashioned reel to reel. He became enthralled by the audience’s reaction to the medium and wanted to one day be apart of that experience. He is easy to stalk online and would appreciate the awkwardness.

jeroen berk : [ webdesigner ]
Inspired by the co-creation loving NIN-community I decided to contribute to the AVOTT project by translating the subtitles to my own native language, dutch. Being a part of such a project gave a stimulus to apply as webdesigner for this project when the vacancy appeared on the nin.com forum.
With more than 10 years of design experience in websites, graphic design, video editing and interaction design my life is pretty much design. This project is a perfect closer of the amazing 2 shows I saw during the Wave Goodbye tour in Amsterdam and on Werchter.
